Professional Football Player. He played the offensive tackle position for both the National Football League's Oakland/Los Angeles Raiders and Houston Oilers from 1979 to 1989. He played football collegiately at the University of California, Los Angeles before being drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the 11th Round of the 1979 NFL Draft. He went on to start in 79 games and played 121 games in 8 1/2 seasons with the Raiders before moving on to the Houston Oilers in 1987. While with the Raiders, he played in two Super Bowls. He went on to play for the Oilers for 2 1/2 seasons before retiring after the 1989 season.
