My grandfather,Louis Dumaine was a Bugle Boy in the U.S.Army WW1 and a famous Jazz Band Leader ( Jazzola 8 )in New Orleans, La. I can not locate any information about his orgin (place of birth,family history, etc.) He was buried with military honors in New Orleans, La. I would like to know if he had other children/ marriages. My mom Lillian Inez Dumaine died at twenty three years old approximately nine years after his death. She was his only known child.His wife, my grandmother was Anna Josephine Dumaine. I was two years old and my sister was four months old when Mom died. My grandmother Anna raised us until I was sixteen and she died. I do not have any pictures of them. It has been very lonely living without them and very little trace of their existance. This information will help me to know more about myself.
