KIMEL WILLIAM 81 of S Miami passed away Sunday July 9 2000. He had been a resident here for the past 51 years coming from New Haven CT. He was the beloved husband of Mary for 52 years: loving father of Kris (Bridgette) Kimel, Rick Kimel, Scott (Jenny) Kimel, dear brother of Tiliie White and cherished grandfather of 4. He was a professional musician since age 13 having toured the Mediterranean with the Yale Unv Dance Band. He played the Sax and Clarinet during the Big Band Era of the 40's with such bands as Buddy Rogers and Abe Lyman. His career included 31 years as the Southeast Regional Director with Broadcast Music Inc as well as serving as Conduct and Band Leader for numerous events in Florida. He was also active in local youth sports for over 10 years Memorial services will be 1 00 PM Tuesday July 18 2000 at LEVITT-WEINSTEIN 5900 SW 77 Ave Miami 305 274-0641. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to VITAS Hospice.
