Thelma H. Hartley
Thelma H. Hartley, 85, of 256 North Porter Street, Waynesburg, died at 5:30 a.m., Monday, May 23, 1988, in Greene County Memorial Hospital following a two-week illness.

She was born February 10, 1903, in Mt. Morris, a daughter of Henry and Sarah Wildman Hickman.

Her entire life was spent in Greene County. He was a member of the First United Church of Waynesburg and the Daughters of Ruth Sunday school class. A housewife, she was also a bookkeeper for Long department store in Waynesburg for many years.

Her husband, Ottis M. Hartley died January 26, 1984.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Sue H. Valentine of Salem, Va.; a son, James B. Hartley of Galion, Ohio; two granddaughters, Lesa Ann McAdam of Toledo, Ohio and Tammy Sue Hartley of Galion, Ohio; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Frank M. (Christine) Jamison Jr. and a brother, Warren F. Hickman, both of Morgantown, W. Va.
