Burnsville - Blanche Miller, 85, of the Ramseytown community, died Monday, Dec. 20, 2004, in Spruce Pine Hospital.
A native of Yancey County, she was a daughter of the late Charlie and Dollie Wilson Miller. She was a member of Millers Chapel Freewill Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Verlyn Perkins of Burnsville; four sisters, Lassie Buchanan, Grace Adkins, Belle Foster and Lala Higgins; two brothers, Floyd Miller and Holt Miller; and three grandchildren, David Perkins, Susan Perkins and Lisa Gillen.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Holcombe Brothers Funeral Home. The Rev. Richard Muri will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Erwin, Tenn.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
