Fred “Bud” Appelman, born to the Fred and Leota Appelman (nee Federer) on February 19, 1931 in Bracken Co, KY passed away Thursday, December 3, 2020 at the age of 89. Bud was the beloved husband of Wilma Appelman (nee Lucas) for 63 years; loving father of Traci Lawhorn (nee Appelman) and Anthony Appelman; cherished Papaw of Kaitlyn Lawhorn, Kariann, Lawhorn, Emily Appelman, and Kyle Appelman; loved brother of Robert Appelman and Margaret Boyce; dear uncle to many nieces and nephews; and resident of Springdale for over 50 years. Bud is preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings Richard Appelman, Virginia Workman, and Eugene Appelman. Funeral Services will be held privately for the family with a public Celebration of Life to come at a future date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude’s Infant Home, Shriner’s Hospital, or Matthew:25 Ministries. Mihovk-Rosenacker honored to serve the family.
