Funeral Mass for Julia (Ugolini) Vaughan, 91, of Greenville will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Boone-Wells Funeral Home, Greenville. She died Jan. 17, 2007, at Delta Regional Medical Center, Greenville. She suffered from Alzheimer's for over 10 years before dying of cancer.
A life long resident of Greenville, she was many things to many people, but loved being a childcare provider to numerous families over numerous years.
She was preceded by her parents, 4 of her 5 siblings and her husband.
The only children they had were the young ones that she cared for in the neighborhood, some from birth to adulthood. She is survived by 1 brother; Ray(Mert) Ugolini of Greenville, 1 niece Mary Ann Wright of Edwards, Ms; 3 nephews, Jerry Ugolini, of Greenville, Harry Ugolini of West Virginia, and Frank "Barry" Ugolini of Birmingham, AL. Burial will be in Greenville Cemetery.
