Funeral services for Mrs. Edith R. Holmes, age 90, resident of Winona, were conducted at Winona First Baptist Church March 22, 1993 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Johnny Walker officiating. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Holmes died of cancer Saturday, March 20 at Fulgham Personal Care Center in Starkville. She was a retired school teacher and seamstress and a member of Winona First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sister, Mrs. Grace Rose Perry of Greenville; and 15 nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers were Tommy Fisackerly, Bill Fisackerly, Chuck Fisher, Bud Thompson, Wimpy Carson and Eddie Barnes.
Lee Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
