Burnette Harrison of Beebe died Sept. 2, 2007 at Central Arkansas Hospice Center. He was born Dec. 26, 1929 to Dewitt and Helen Galloway Harrison.
He was a 28 year veteran of the United States Navy retiring as a Lieutenant Commander. After navy retirement, he worked for the NCR Corporation for 15 years.

He was a member of Antioch Community Methodist Church, past Master and Secretary Treasurer of Beebe Masonic Lodge #145, a 32nd degree Mason and member of the Scottish Rite Knight Command Court of Honor. He also served as a volunteer at Central Arkansas Hospital for 15 years.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years Eileen Harrison; two sons, Michael (Annette) and Tim (Alicia) of Jacksonville, Florida; two grandchildren, Shawn and Christina and one great grandchild, Ian; two brothers, Bob Harrison (Shirley) of Poway, California and Don Harrison (Kay) of Morrilton.

Burnette was a kind and gentle man who had a host of friends who loved him and he always had a big smile for everybody.

Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Westbrook Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe, Ark. with burial in Antioch Cemetery.
