She enjoyed many years at Sunset Manor where she liked to play Wii bowling and most recently enjoyed painting.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Kenneth Helmholdt, and daughter Nancy Helmholdt.
Lovingly remembered by her children, Ron and Mary Helmholdt, Bruce and Lori Helmholdt, Bev and Ed Robison; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandsons; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Harv and Helen Helmholdt, Carol Helmholdt; several nieces and nephews.
Private Funeral services will be held on Monday at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor Don VanSlyke officiating. Burial in Floral View Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Sunset Benevolence Fund.
