Theresa 'Pat' Veen, nee di Francesca, passed away on July 26, 2017, after a brief illness. Pat was born on January 13, 1926 in Piermont, NY and was a lifelong resident of the village her entire life. She was an employee at Rockland Psychiatric Center for 35 years, a lifelong member of St. John the Baptist Church where she was also the eldest member of the Catholic Daughter's Court of St. Anne's with 73 years of faithful service. In addition, Pat was a 50-year member of the Sparkill-Palisades Ladies Auxillary during which time she served as president for 4 years: and she served as an Elections Inspector for the Town of Orangetown for a great many years.
Pat is predeceased by her four sisters and three brothers of which one was her twin. She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and great-great-great nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass is planned for Friday, August 4, 2017, at St. John the Baptist Church, 895 Piermont Ave, Piermont, NY at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations can be made in Pat's name to her favorite charity, The Maryknoll Sisters, P.O. Box 317, Maryknoll, NY 10545
