Annie emigrated to the US in 1870 with her parents, Kittel Svenson Boen and Torbjor Gundersdotter with four of five of her siblings. She married Augund Alickson (1847- 1932) and together had a total of eleven children of which three died as children. They lived in Santiago until around 1904, then bought land in Glendorado. Her husband preceded her in death by five years.
