Funeral services for Mrs. Vesta Hall Brown, 86, of Jacksonville, FL, who died on April 25, 2002, at St. Catherine's Manor in Jacksonville, FL., due to declining health, were held on April 28 at the Banks Funeral Home with Dr. Tom Jacobs officiating. Interment followed at Hillcrest Cemetery. She was the daughter of the late John L Hall and Zylphia I. Hall. Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, Henry A. Brown, on April 17, 1992. The Worth County native was a homemaker who had resided in Jacksonville most of her life. She was a member of King's Road Baptist Church in Jacksonville.
Serving as pallbearers were Marvin Hall, Andy Hall, DeWayne Fowler, John Hall and David Fowler. Mrs. Brown is survived by one son, S. Kelly Brown of Leesburg, 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society, Sylvester Ga. Banks Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
