Services for Durant Glasper, 86, of Woodville, who died Sunday, Aug. 1, 2004, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at noon Saturday at Singleton Chapel in Woodville with the Rev. Johnnie Elery officiating.

Burial will follow at Cedar Rest #2 cemetery under the direction of Williams and Williams.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. until services time Saturday at the church.

Mr. Glasper was born Aug. 17, 1917, in Deer Park, the son of William Glasper and Eliza Miles.

He was a farmer, a member of Singleton Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include two daughters, Debra Smith and Jessie Dunbar of Woodville; one son, Woodrow Lindsey of Woodville; three sisters, Dora Johnson of Woodville, Lillian Taylor of Baton Rouge, La. and Florence Johnson of Natchez; one brother, J.B. Glasper of Baton Rouge.

Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
