An inquest was held over the remains of Thomas McLoon, who died at his home in Cotton Hill from unnatural causes, by Justice James L. McKee, in the absence of Coroner Hofferkamp. From the evidence it was shown that the deceased came to his death from a broken neck, which he received in a fall from a tree while engaged in cutting off a limb. He was a widower and leaves three small children, and also a grown daughter who lives in California.
