Ms. Jeanette McArthur Royston, age 82 of Austell, GA formerly of Ellijay, passed on Tuesday January 7th, 2020 at Wellstar Tranquility Hospice in Austell. She was born July 7th, 1937 in Ellijay to her late parents Everett D. and Gertrude (Miller) McArthur. Jeanette was a graduate of Gilmer High School, Class of 1955 Young Harris College and Georgia State University. She retired as a secretary from Lockheed Martin and attended Cartecay United Methodist Church. Mrs. Royston is preceded in death by her husband, Julius Barton Royston, brothers, Harley McArthur and Jerry McArthur.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm on Friday January 10th, from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Lowery officiating. Music and singing will be by Regina Mathis. Interment will follow in the Cartecay Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Royston is survived by her daughter, Linda Gertrude Chambers of Jacksonville, FL, step-daughter and son-in-law, Anita and Barney Flanders of Carrollton, GA, step-sons and daughters-in-law, Bart and Julie Royston of Jonesboro, GA, Joel and Patty Royston of Tampa, FL, Gene and Angie Royston of Hernando, MS, grandchildren, Amber Marie Chambers, Tiffy Alexis Chambers, several step grandchildren, great-granddaughter, Lacey Marie Conley, sister and brother-in-law, Evelyn and Tom Tabor of Marietta, GA.
