Mrs. Abercrombie had been ill for several days and the cause of her death is attributed to heart failure.
Her funeral was held at the residence on Monday afternoon, Rev. B. R. Turnipseed officiating, assisted by Rev. A. J. Stafford, after which her remains were interred at Bethany cemetery.
Mrs. Abercrombie leaves five children, Mrs. Mary Wood, Mrs. R. W. McCreary, Miss Helen Abercrombie and Mr. James R. Abercrombie of Aiken and Miss Hattie Abercrombie of Columbus, Ga.
