PHILADELPHIA, April 23 -- William D. Hewitt, of Burlington, N. J., 76 years old, noted architect and designer of churches in a number of cities, died today at a local hospital (Hannemann Hospital). Among the buildings designed by Mr. Hewitt are the Bellevue-Stratford Hotel and Bourse Building here and the Hill School memorial building at Pottstown, Pennsylvania.
William was buried on April 24, 1924 in St. Mary's Churchyard.
