Funeral services were held on Friday morning at the First Chr. Ref. Church of Orange City for Miss Dena Van Oosterhout, 89, who passed away on Tuesday, July 19. Miss Van Oosterhout was born on Sept. 9, 1876 in The Netherlands. She came to the U. S. when a young child and was s longtime resident of Orange City. Survivors include a nephew, Judge Martin D. Van Oosterhout of Orange City. The Rev. Ralph Bronkema, a former pastor of the First Chr. Ref. Church officiated at the funeral services. Burial was made at Westlawn Cemetery under direction of the Van Etten Funeral Home.
