Oma ‘Pat' Harmon Mashburn
Mrs. Oma "Pat" Harmon Mashburn, 82, of Vilas, N.C., died Saturday, August 26, 2006 at Glenbridge Health Care in Boone.
She was born Dec. 11, 1923 in Cherokee County, N.C., a daughter of Mack and Louise White Patterson.
Mrs. Mashburn had worked as a nurse's aid with Highland Hall Nursing Home.
She is survived two daughters, one son, two step-sons, eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren and two step-great-grand children.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Lonnie Charles Harmon; her second husband, Jay Mashburn; two sisters, Devada Mae Mashburn and Zona Sherrill; and two brothers, Hubert Patterson and Hillard Patterson.
Burial will follow in Zion Hill Cemetery.
