It is with saddened hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Eugene on Friday March 12th, peacefully at home, at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Joanne for 54 years. Loving father of Marge (Eric) Stark and Michael (Bonnie). Cherished grandfather of Nicole, Jessica, Valerie, and Keifer. Predeceased by his son Robert (2001) and brother Walter (2008). He will be sadly missed by his sisters Lena, Helen, and Janka in Poland. Fondly remembered by many brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Eugene immigrated to Canada in 1948 and worked for GM as a Precision Inspector for 40 years. Eugene was an active member of the CAW where he enjoyed weekly Cribbage and Euchre matches. International travel was also one of his passions.
