Sister Betty met the Adrian Dominicans when she went to Barry College in Miami Shores, Florida. On September 8, 1946, after graduating from Barry, she entered the Congregation. She earned her master’s degree from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.
After many years of ministry, Sister Betty returned to Adrian where she was a spiritual director, helped out as a librarian, taught at the literacy center, served as a Eucharistic minister, and was a delegate to the Holy Rosary Chapter Mission Council.
