Married Sarah Ann Elizabeth "Betty" O'Daniel Feb. 7, 1878. Death Certificate states he lived in Shelbyville, Ky at the Old Masons Home of Ky., Parents Monroe Lee Shelton & Sarah Ann Dodd. Two brothers, Lawson B. & John B. and 2 half sisters, Amanda Wilkins and Paralee H. Wilkins from his mom first husband Hugh Wilkins. Paralee married Betty older brother James W. O'Daniel and they are also buried in the O'Daniel Cemetery. Death Certificate has burial in Elkton, Ky on 3/2/1940, not for sure what cemetery he is in, for now have him listed in the O'Daniel cemetery. William death certificate attached also shows birth year of 1861, but after looking at many census, pretty sure 1856 is correct birth year.
