I have been married to Erin Nicole Mutchler-Rose since June 26, 1999. My wife grew up in Bucyrus, OH and played collegiate basketball at the University of Cincinnati. We have 3 boys, Tyler, Drew and Nash. I played collegiate basketball & tennis at Walsh College in North Canton, OH and graduated from Conneaut HS located in Conneaut, OH. My college basketball coach at Walsh was Bob Huggins, the former head men's basketball coach at West Virginia University and he has 935 career wins, 3rd all-time in NCAA Men's basketball history. Bob was elected to the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2023.

In August of 2018 at the Rose Family Reunion, my Aunt Helen and I started a project to dig deep in to our family tree and began to visit and document our family members in the local cemeteries in Elkton, KY. We started with the Rose Family Cemetery, not far from the Rose Farm that my dad grew up on for most of his life. We then visited many other cemeteries that we had family in such as, Glenwood Cemetery, Tabernacle Cemetery, New Ebenezer Cemetery, Riverside Cemetery and the O'Daniel Cemetery, just to name a few. After digging hard in to the Rose family tree, I began to also work on my wife, Erin's family tree in the Bucyrus, OH area.

I am a retired teacher having been a head boys and girls varsity basketball coach and teacher in the state of Ohio for over 28 years, My father, the late Harold "Coach" Rose, was a retired head boys basketball coach and teacher for 30 years in Ohio. My dad was from Elkton, KY and my mom, Tina (Stalvey) Rose, was raised in Rossville, GA , and now lives in Bellefontaine, OH. My grandparents were Gertie (Burchett) & BB Rose and Margie (Biddle) & Ernest Stalvey. My wife's parents are Judy (Cotsamire) Mutchler and the late William "Bill" Lewis Mutchler. Erin grandparents were Irma (Beach) & Donald Cotsamire and Hazel (Wilson) & Dwight Mutchler. I was elected to the Board of the Crawford County (OH) Genealogy Society in November of 2022. I look forward to this opportunity and hopefully will be able to use my Find A Grave experience to enhance the Genealogy Society and their records.
