Lois Casaday, passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at the age of 84. Lois retired after 31 years from East High School where she worked in the cafeteria. She was a member of Bunker Hill Christian Church.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James “Hoppy”, brother Pete Garrett, sister Juanita Willis and grandson Darrell. She is survived by children Beryl, Jr. and wife LaDonna, Anna Duff and husband Robert, Larry and wife Diana, Steve and wife Sandy, Don and wife Lori, Alan and wife Beth, 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, sisters LaWanda, Imogene, and Betty and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held 6 pm, Sunday, March 3, 2019 at Bunker Hill Christian Church, 490 Bunker Hill Rd, Bluff City, TN with Minister Grant Foster officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the church from 4 to 5:45 pm. The burial will be 10:00 am, Monday, March 4th in the Mountain Home National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Jonah, Brian, David and Perry Casaday, Patrick Waters, Austin Smith, Ian Ollis, and T. J. Sells.
