A native of Swain County, Mrs. Kish was the former owner of Dixie Nursery in Farm Park, Fla., and retired to Dillsboro in 1987. She was the daughter of the late Walker Woody and Mary Shuler Woody and was also preceded in death by her husband, Alex Charles Kish, who passed away in 2001, six brothers and six sisters.
She is survived by her son, Stephen A. Kish of Tallahassee, Fla.; brother, Wayne Woody of Durham; and sister, Gaynell Woody of Sylva.
The funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Moody Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Bryson officiating. Interment will be at Woody Cemetery in Bryson City.
