Mrs. Eliza Cornwell Rhinehart, 90, of 114 Mill St. passed away on Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at Chester Regional Medical Center. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at Mount Olive Baptist Church, Chester, with the Rev. Terry O. Feaster officiating. Burial will follow in Gethsemane Baptist Church Cemetery, Darby Road, Chester.

Born in York County on May 18, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Willie T. Cornwell and Willie L. Robinson Cornwell. She was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church, where she served as a Deaconess, Vocal Choir member, Missionary Ministry, Church Aid, Sunday School, Mount Olive Community Kindergarten and Wednesday Morning Bible Study. She was a graduate of Finley High School, attended Friendship College and was a member of Josephus Chapter OES No. 160, where she served as past Worthy Matron and a member of the C.B.&A. Society. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Rhinehart Sr.; a son, Derrick Rhinehart; a daughter, LaVerene Rhinehart; and a granddaughter, Derisha S. Rhinehart.
