Born in York County on May 18, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Willie T. Cornwell and Willie L. Robinson Cornwell. She was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church, where she served as a Deaconess, Vocal Choir member, Missionary Ministry, Church Aid, Sunday School, Mount Olive Community Kindergarten and Wednesday Morning Bible Study. She was a graduate of Finley High School, attended Friendship College and was a member of Josephus Chapter OES No. 160, where she served as past Worthy Matron and a member of the C.B.&A. Society. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Rhinehart Sr.; a son, Derrick Rhinehart; a daughter, LaVerene Rhinehart; and a granddaughter, Derisha S. Rhinehart.
