She passed from Breast Cancer
Peggy Hagans Landon, 59 of Jesup died Wednesday, September 19, 2018 in Harborview Nursing Home after an extended illness. The Chatham County native had lived in Wayne County most of her life, attended Trinity Baptist Church and was a former employee of DMI in Jesup. She was proud to be a 13 year breast cancer survivor. Peggy enjoyed being a grandmother the most but also liked to travel and help others in need. She was predeceased by her parents, Solomon and Joyce Jarriel Hagans; a sister, Cathleen Hagans and a brother, Danny Hagans.
Memorial services will be 1 PM, Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Trinity Baptist Church with Dr. Ron Wilcox officiating. Interment will follow in Lower Lotts Creek Cemetery in Statesboro.
The family will receive friends at the church.
