"San Antonio Gazette " Dec 4, 1908, see also "The San Antonio Light" Wyatt Hanks, Brother, Disinters remains" Can't find a mention confirming it was. Brownsvil Daily Herald April 28, 1902 reports O.C. buried in Stranger's Row, Cemetary #4.

Section of a Pinkerton wanted poster. This version incorrectly states he was raised in New Mexico. Hanks was raised in DeWitt County around Cuero and Yorktown. It's been said he was born in Clinton, DeWitt Co., TX.
