Rites Planned Saturday For Mrs. F. P. Thornber
FULTON — Services for Mrs. Jennie S. Thornber, 58, of 414 W. Fourth St., who died Tuesday at home, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the First United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Bundyville.
Friends may call 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the f ami ly home.
Born in Lorraine, she resided in Fulton 22 years. She had retired as a schoolteacher, having taught at the Phillip School.
Mrs. Thornber was a member of the First United Methodist Church and Fayetteville chapter 197, OES.
She also was a member of the State Retired Teachers Association.
Surviving are her husband, Floyd P.; a daughter, Sharon L.;
two sons, George F. and Lynn Al an; two sisters, Mrs. Marian
Moreton of Merritt Island, Fla., and Mrs. Leona Macklen of
Lorraine; two brothers, Spencer of Seattle, Wash., and the Rev. Leon Stillman of Bombay, N. Y.; and several nieces and
nephews.
Contributions may be made to the educational memorial fund
of the First Unified Methodist Church or to the American Cancer Society.
