My dear father. He left Hungary in November
1956 during the Hungarian Revolution against the Russian Communism. Arrived to the United States 1957 after being in a refugee camp for 6 months. Arrived on a Friday and started working the following Monday. He was a hard working man. He loved his grand-children and great grand children.

Erno was born on May 17, 1931 in Hungary and passed away on May 17, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He moved to Chesterland from Hungary in 1957 and was a parishioner of St. Margaret of Hungary Catholic Church. Erno belonged to the Hungarian Cultural Club and enjoyed attending their picnics. He Attended a trade school in Europe and proudly worked his first job as a Black Smith making police horse shoes. Erno was also a tool and die maker and foreman. He was previously an employee of RB&W in Mentor. Erno loved gardening and even won the "Best Garden Award" in Chesterland. He greatly enjoyed playing pool and going to the flea market in Middlefield with his friends. Erno played the harmonica and enjoyed listening to Hungarian music.
