DIGHTON -- Mrs. Lillian (Carpenter) Botelho, 54, a native and lifelong resident of Dighton, died Tuesday, September 30, 1980 in Fall River. She was the wife of Louis E. Botelho of 3165 Millers Lane.

The daughter of Mrs. Ruth (Whitmore) Carpenter and the late Joseph Carpenter she was a member of St Peter's Parish Dighton.

She was formely employed as a power machine operator in the Fall River needle trade and was a school bus driver in Dighton. She had been associated with her husband in farming.

Besides her husband and mother she is survived by a son Louis, Jr. of Dighton; two daughters, Dale and Robin Botelho of Dighton; three brothers, Lawrence and Danny Carpenter of Dighton, and Alphonse Carpenter of Swansea; two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Arlene) Pontes of swansea and Mrs. Charles (Irene) Cestodio of Dighton; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.


A funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers and Sons Funeral Home 1521 North Main Street, Fall River followed by a Funeral Mass in St Peter's Dighton. Interment At Patrick's Cemetery Somerset MA.
