Born Nov,24,1915,in Newcomb,he was the son of the late
Thomas Franklin and Mary Lamb Perkins.
Mr. Perkins was a member of the local UMW union 6869.
Survivors include his wife,Jewell Harper Perkins; a son
,Gary Wayne and his wife ,Diana Perkins of Corinne; two
daughters,Mrs.Dennis (Mary)Davis of Newcomb and Mrs.
Neal(Faye) Kitts of Farmington Hills Michigan;a brother
L.C. Perkins of Noble,Okla;a sister,Ruby Phillips of
Elyria,Ohio;and seven grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Harp
Funeral Home Chapel,Jellico,Tenn.,with the Rev.Durand
Dixon officiating. Burial will follow in the Fox
Cemetery,Newcomb.
