In 1976, Sophie and Arthur followed their children to Beverly Hills, CA where they lived their rest of their lives. Sophie was an outgoing woman who embraced life to its fullest. She was a very social woman who was loved by everyone and Sophie cherished her time with her family and friends. She was always the bell of the ball with a beautiful smile and loved to share jokes that raised eyebrows. One of her greatest passions was her love of golf and the golf G-D's smiled down on her and gave her three holes in one to prove it. Sophie was forever heartbroken by the loss of her daughter Barbara. She helped to raise her daughters children, Gayle and Dana. Sophie is survived by her two sons, James and Ronald, her nine grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Sophie was loved by all and had special relationships with everyone she touched. Words cannot describe the way she connected with people. We will forever miss Sophie's zest for life, acceptance for everyone, her amazing sense of humor, and her timeless beauty.
