KINSTON - Ruby Waller Laughinghouse, 96, of Kinston, passed away Sunday. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 26, 2017, in Maplewood Cemetery, 400 College St., Wilson, NC. The Rev. Randy Jenkins will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Wednesday, prior to the service, at Thomas-Yelverton Funeral Home, 2704 Nash St. N., Wilson, NC. Ruby is survived by two daughters, Theresa Newsome and husband Daryel, of Lucama, and Angela Wright and husband Keith, of Kitty Hawk; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Clayton Laughinghouse, and a daughter, Patsy Lee Laughinghouse. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Thomas-Yelverton Funeral Home, Wilson, NC.
