Edna M. Stinnett, 81, widow of Chester Stinnett, of Highland Avenue in Lancaster, formerly of Nicholasville, died Feb. 16, after a long illness. She was a retired nurse with the Jessamine County Health Department. She was the daughter of the late Hershel and Martha Crutchfield Motley. Survivors include two step daughters, Arlena K. Stinnett of Lancaster, and Cheryl Gayle Stinnett; one granddaughter; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Elizabeth Bowen; a brother, Ray Motley; one niece; and one nephew.
Services were held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at Betts & West Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Story officiating. Burial was at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens.
