Savannah -Wilbur Pace, 82, of Savannah, died Friday, Feb. 2, 2007 at his residence, under the care of Hospice Savannah, Inc. He was born in Clyo, Ga., and was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Helen Terry Pace., and a son, Calvin Ricky Pace. He was a veteran of WW II, having served in the Pacific Theatre in the US Navy. He was retired from SEPCO after 44 years, and a Supervisor. He was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church, the Finance Committee, the Board of Trustees, the Administrative Board, the Louise Freeman Sunday School Class, the United Methodist Men's Club, and the Christian Business Men's Committee. He is survived by two sons and daughters in law, Ronald Pace (Gayle) of Greer, SC; and Randall Pace (Mary) of Savannah, Ga., a daughter, Renita P. Ball (John) of Savannah, Ga; 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation: 4-6 p.m. Saturday at the Fairhaven Funeral Home. Funeral Services: 3 p.m. Sunday at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, with interment in Turkey Branch United Methodist Church Cemetery at Springfield, Ga. Mr. Pace will be taken to the church at 1 p.m. Sunday to lie in state. Remembrances: Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 2020 Tennessee Ave, Savannah, Ga 31404.
