Passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017, at Covenant-Harrison, surrounded by his family. Age 52 years.

The son of Joyce (Slama) and the late William A. Geitman was born September 25, 1964, in Saginaw, Michigan.

He married Sherrie L. Bartle, July 25, 1987. She survives him. Gregory was a graduate of Hemlock High School, Class of 1982. He was employed by Garr Tool Company for 32 years. He was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Hemlock and had been a member of the Richland Township Fire Dept. He enjoyed camping, hunting and, most of all, his family.

Surviving besides his wife, Sherrie, and his mother, Joyce, are two sons, Brandon and Tyler Geitman; his brother and his wife, Jeff and Sandi Geitman; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, John and Sharon Bartle; his sisters-in-law and their husbands, Carrie and Scott Peterson; Tracy and Rob Miller; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives.

The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 17, 2017, at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 2461 N. Raucholz Rd. The Rev. Dr. William L. Morris will officiate with burial in Richland Lutheran Cemetery.
