: I appreciated the contributor trying to set out a time line. That was so thoughtful of Mr. Batts to provide clarification. I noticed that the first two lines, specifically, in the bio is a little confusing, due to a name mix-up. For example, the author (?) typed it was Jonas [sic] as having married Nancy C Bromley (1871-1908). Just thought I'd mention so as to save other viewers confusion. Not sure of the FG rules, but probably either he's the one who might want to re-write it; or allowable for yourself--as the manager, do do so? contributor, Mary (48991232)

. Lewis married Sarah Bromley. They had one child, Jonas Clay. When Sarah died, Jonas married Sarah's younger sister, Nancy Bromley. They had three children, Albert, Mary, and Paul. The family moved briefly to Texas, where Nancy died and is buried. Lewis became ill in Texas and moved back to Tennessee with his four children. Lewis died shortly after returning to Tennessee. His son, Jonas, moved to Birmingham. Albert remained in Tennessee. Mary and Paul were placed in Monroe Harding Children's Home in Nashville.
Contributor: Clay Batts (50260102)

Lewis Clay, who left this country recently for his old home at Riverside, Tennessee, and who was very feeble when he left, died recently.
