NILES – Judith Faye Buckner, 60, of Niles, passed away Thursday, Oct. 1, 2015, at Hospice House of Poland.
She was born Oct. 30, 1954, in Warren, the daughter of the late Rev. Ray and Phyllis Carol Stone Johnson.
Judith married Jesse Ray Buckner Oct. 15, 1972.
She attended Kent State University for two years and was employed as a manager at Summit Management Warren Woods Senior Apartments. She was also a member of Apostolic Assembly of Mineral Ridge.
Survivors include her husband, Jesse R. Buckner of Niles; mother, Phyllis Carol Johnson; sons, Johnny Ray and Jamie D. Buckner, both of Cuyahoga Falls; daughters, Kristy (Jimmy) Newsom of Niles and Tiffany (Scott) Diely of Stow; a brother, Thomas Johnson of Niles; four sisters, Susan White of Kent, Peggy Davis of Zanesville, Pam Lent of Newark and Joyce Blagaich of Howland; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceeded in death by her father, the Rev. Ray Johnson; and a brother, Keith Johnson.
Funeral services for Judith will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 5, 2015, at Apostolic Assembly of Mineral Ridge, where Pastor Philip Burbridge will officiate. Family and friends may call 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 4, 2015, at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home. She will be buried in Kerr Cemetery.
