Emma was the daughter of Lewis and Anna M. Smith. She was the fourth of six chilren.
She married Stonewall Jackson "Jack" Devier on Janurary 2, 1889 in Boone County, Missouri.
Stonewall died only fifteen months later and Emma followed in four months. I do not know the reason for their deaths, but I am sure their familes felt a tremendous loss.
