Gerard Lamberti of Scranton passed away Wednesday evening, Jan. 18, 2017, at Geisinger Community Medical Center following an illness. His wife is the former Terri Wheeler.

Born in Taylor, he was the son of the late Gerardo Louis and Edna May Uhrin Lamberti. A graduate of West Scranton High School, before his illness, he was employed by the City of Scranton Department of Public Works.

Also surviving are his children, Jeremy, Brianna and Jaelyn; a granddaughter, Abigail; two sisters, Deborah Mitchel and twin sister, Laura Licata; a niece, Emilee.

He was also preceded in death by a son, Jason; a sister, Donna Lynn Lamberti.

A memorial service will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. in the First Congregational United Church of Christ, 130 Union St., Taylor, with Pastor Ginger Daubenhauser officiating. Interment at Cathedral Cemetery will be private at the convenience of the family.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Guido-Fiorillo Funeral Home, 120 S. Main Ave., Scranton.
