Carminda Curral, age 83, of Shelton, CT, the beloved wife of the late Antonio Curral, entered into eternal rest at Griffin Hospital, Derby, CT with her loving family by her side. Born in Peireses, Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Albertina Moura. Carminda migrated to the United States in 1967 and lived in Bridgeport, CT for many years. She worked for Acme United in Bridgeport and then Park City Hospital until her retirement, bringing laughter and joy into her workplace. One of Carminda's greatest joys was becoming an American Citizen. She was a beautiful woman full of life and laughter, who loved to joke and have fun with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She leaves to cherish her memory her six daughters; Maria Carlos and husband Daniel of Shelton, Isabel Reale and husband Josh, of Amsterdam, NY, Anna Morgado of Suwanee, GA, Leonore Doolan, and husband James of Shelton, Lilly Giacobbe and husband Ralph of Monroe, Luisa Emery and husband Rick of Seymour and her son, Carlos and his wife Lisa of Stratford. She is also survived by her 16 cherished grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Antonio, her son, Jose, daughter-in-law, Julie Curral and son-in-law, Jose Morgado. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in St Margaret's Shrine, 2523 Park Ave., Bridgeport, CT.
