HARDEEVILLE -- Deacon Henry Michael died Aug. 15 at home.
He was a native of Hardeeville and attended Jasper County public schools. He was a member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church and served as vice chairman of the Deacon Board and president of the Senior Choir. He was also affiliated with Happy Home Lodge No. 125, F&AM. He retired from Stone Container.
SURVIVORS: three daughters, Ella Mae Michael of Bronx, N.Y., and Erma L. Wilson and Martha Michael, both of Hardeeville; three sons, Johnny Michael of Hardeeville, Henry L. Michael of Manhattan, N.Y., and Darnell Michael of Mount Vernon, N.Y.; 19 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
