Mary C. (Nee Roepke) Mente passed away on October 10, 2016. She resided in Brookfield, WI. Mary was born near St. Rose Parish, Milwaukee, where she was baptized and married. In 1943, Mary took a Greyhound bus to join the war effort in California for Lockheed as a "Rosie the Riveter." When she returned to Milwaukee, she married her husband, Frank and raised her 6 children. Mary liked to play Bingo and cards. Her "real luck" was having an attentive and loving family. She was remembered affectionately by many friends and relatives for her dry wit. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, her parents, two brothers and three sisters. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
