Singer-songwriter, musician and producer. Born Cecil Bustamente Campbell, later taking the nickname of Prince Buster due to his street fighting skills, was a pioneer of ska Jamaican music and later changed his style to what he called Rocksteady and released an album entitled Judge Dread and was the first Jamaican to have a top 20 hit in Britain; Al Capone, released in 1975. He was also instrumental in spurring a ska revival in England during the late 70's and later received the Order of Distinction in Jamaica for his influence and development of Jamaica's music industry.
