Mrs. Moore was a member of Fellowship United Methodist Church in Hamlet. She was most knowledgeable of the Bible and held various positions in her church here, as well as in Asheboro. She was a Sunday school teacher and active in ladies clubs and always involved in several committees. One of her pleasures in life was animals, especially her "Grand dogs."
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Moore.
Survivors include her son, Terry Moore and wife Rebecca of Hamlet; grandchildren, Aprille Mitchell (Tommy) of Concord, Amber Moore of Hamlet and Bryan Moore (Megan) of Rockingham; and great-grandchildren, Bailey and Erin Mitchell and Gabby Moore.
