Lola Carver Adams, 94, of 287 Wild Turkey Lane, Greenville, TN passed away August 8, 2016. She was a native of Madison County and the daughter of the late William David and Tena Rice Carver. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Bob Adams, son, Bobby Horn; five sisters and six brothers.
Mrs. Adams was survived by a daughter, Sue Ricker (Steve); sons, Johnny Metcalf (Ann), Gerald Metcalf, Boyd Metcalf (Eloise) and Bill Horn (Sonya); Kathy Clark, grandchildren; Angela Schmidt, Ray, Alton and Michael Metcalf, Jeanie Fender, David Ray Rich, April Michelle Donnelley, Lisa Lewis, Memory Crowder, Erin and Jeremy Horn and Lenny McBride; 13 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
A funeral service was held 2:00pm Friday, August 12, 2016 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverends Willard Norton and Bud Marlor officiated. The burial followed in the Little Ivy Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends from 12-2:00PM prior to the service.
