Foie Shelton, age 88, of Weaverville, N.C. passed away Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Madison Manor.
She was the daughter of the late Dave and Tina Rice Carver. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rass Shelton and daughters, Paulette Waldrup , Patricia Dell, and Billie Ruth.
Foie was survived by her sons, Carl Shelton (Shelia) and Doyle Shelton (Joann), both of Weaverville; sister, Lola Adams of TN; 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.
A funeral was held at 2:00 PM Sunday, March 22, 2015 at the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service with Rev. Boyd Metcalf officiating. Interment was at Piney Mountain Church Cemetery.
