Upon death of Ambrose intestate, a multi year probate followed by jury trial between Nancy, and all the children of the marriage ended wtih her being awarded 80 of 1200 acres that Ambrose had purchased off of the McFarland Tract. (This 80 acres included what is now the Lower Part of what we now know as Locust Field Holland Pharr Cemetery). Upon her death, her interest passed largely to her daughter Lydia Pharr Johnson, and then down to her daughter Nancy Isabella Johnson Holland.
Nancy Chambers Pharr is now buried at the left hand of Ambrose at Locust Field Holland Pharr Cemetery.
